LES CONCERTS DU 7ÈME CIEL - OUTSIDE

HORLA PATRIE | RICHARD LEWIS
November 09, 2013

Horla Patrie are a folk/French chanson Parisian quintet led by Vincent Ehrhart-Devay. The band formed in London, playing pubs and sharing their stories about ghosts and unrequited love.

Back in Paris, the group released their first EP, 6bis Rue des Hormets. Diogène, their new record, is a beautifully arranged and orchestrated EP that puts the emphasis on a dialogue between an accordion and a double bass.

Back in 2007, Paris-based English songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Richard Lewis released Postcard, an intimate and understated debut album influenced by early Yann Tiersen and David Sylvian. Three years later he was back with Untitled, another album filled with beautiful melodies.

Having played extensively on the Parisian live circuit for the last few years, Lewis has recruited musicians along the way. His new accomplices enrich {You Are Here}, his latest album.
