TRANSBEAUCE | DIEGO ZAVATARELLI September 11, 2010
Transbeauce are Christophe Braillon and Bruno Selles. Along with a revolving cast of musicians, they have recorded nocturnal instrumental music since the early 00s.
Stories On The Radio is the band's third album. It features their work as sound designers for C'est Lenoir, a daily independent music radio programme on French national radio, France Inter.
With a synthesis of styles suggesting the twilight atmosphere of The Cure in their Faith period, the Cocteau Twins' delicate flights of fancy and electronic minimalism, they played their songs in a new acoustic format.
Diego Zavatarelli is a Paris-based Argentinian singer-songwriter. After studying and teaching the guitar for nine years at the Conservatorio Nacional Superior de Música in Buenos Aires, he decided to concentrate on his own music and to try his luck on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
As a prelude to the concerts, 7ème Ciel opened its doors to EUX, an improvisation theatre troupe who demonstrated the fine art of improv with a great sense of comedy and entertainment.
