Illustrator and musician, Julien Ribot conjures up an epic, very personal world. With three albums, Hotel Bocchi, La Métamorphose de Caspard Dix and Vega, already under his belt, he sets out to create a gallery of fairytale pop images. At school, it seems that Julien spent more time daydreaming than listening to his teacher.
Following her residency at the Parisian's venue Les Trois Baudets, 7ème Ciel was delighted to welcome Maud Lübeck, a singer-songwriter from the south of France.
Most of Maud's compositions are played on the piano and her music seems to caress and glide over us. It's a very personal and physical world worthy of the great 60s French Chanson icons. We should hear more about this very talented musician in the years to come.
