LES CONCERTS DU 7ÈME CIEL - SEASON 1

THE SLEEPING YEARS
May 19, 2008

The Sleeping Years are a London-based Irish band led by Dale Grundle, formerly the singer-songwriter of Catchers, a group which left their mark on the indie pop world of the 90s.

Two days before their gig with The Mabuses at the Café de la Danse in Paris, The Sleeping Years began the first season of concerts at 7ème Ciel.

After quietly self-releasing three EPs in 2007, the band returned in 2008 with We're Becoming Islands One By One, their debut album of folk and pop songs.

For this first show, Grundle sang and played the guitar, while Michelle So played the cello. It was the perfect opportunity to see that Dale's talents are still very much intact.
