Live 1994-1996

Live 1994-1996 is a collection of bootlegs and broadcasts, recorded either straight from the mixing desk or from within the audience. It was lovingly put together by Dale Grundle.

""Apathy" is from our very first performance in France, recorded during a Setanta Records showcase at Passage du Nord-Ouest in Paris in 1994, just before we began to record Mute, our first album.

Later that year we played at La Route du Rock festival in Fort de Saint-Père for the first time. "Shifting" and "Worm Out" are both taken from that show.

"Summer Is Nearly Over" and "Christina" were recorded in November 1994, when we played at Les Inrockuptibles festival, sharing the bill with Ben Harper and American Music Club.

In 1995, the band toured France with Edwyn Collins. "Stumbling", "Cotton Dress" and "Epitaph" are from that tour.

The following year, we supported The Divine Comedy at Le Bataclan in Paris, where "Beauty No. 3" and "Come Around" were recorded." – Dale Grundle –

Live 1994-1996 CD is part of the album Mute (25th Anniversary) and only available in physical format when purchased along with one of the 2xLP limited editions.
